Plain T-shirts in bulk: prices, totals and size split

Updated 14 September 2026 · Prices checked 14 September 2026

Ordering plain tees for a team, club, event or staff? Here is what bulk discounts really save, what the total comes to with delivery, and how to split sizes so nobody is left out.

Quick answer

At Marmalade Co. a plain Fruit of the Loom T-shirt costs €6.95. From 3 pieces there is 5 % off, from 5 pieces 10 % off, which is €6.26 per tee. DHL delivery is €7 flat per order, so 10 tees cost €69.55 and 50 tees €319.75 in total. Delivery is to Ireland and 10 EU countries only, not currently to the United Kingdom. For groups, most orders centre on sizes M and L.

How do bulk discounts on plain T-shirts work?

Most shops lower the price per tee as the quantity rises. At Marmalade Co. the structure is simple and applies from very small quantities:

There is no minimum order, so you can order a single sample tee first to check colour, fabric and fit before buying for the whole group.

What does a bulk order cost in total, including delivery?

The price per tee is only half of the story. Delivery is €7 flat per order with DHL, so the more tees you order at once, the less delivery adds per piece. Here are the totals for plain Fruit of the Loom T-shirts:

Where does Marmalade Co. deliver bulk orders?

Orders are dispatched within 0 to 1 working day and arrive in about 2 to 3 working days. Delivery is available to Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain.

The United Kingdom is not currently served. If your group is in the UK, the tips in this guide on sizes, fabric and planning still apply, but you would need a delivery address in one of the countries above or a UK supplier.

How do you split sizes for a group order?

Getting sizes wrong is the most common problem with group orders. The best method is to ask everyone for their size. If that is not possible, this rough split for a mixed adult group is a sensible starting point:

SizeChest (cm, approx.)Share of 20 tees
XS84 to 881
S89 to 943
M95 to 1006
L101 to 1066
XL107 to 1123
XXL113 to 1181

Adjust for your group: sports teams often need more M and L, while a group of mostly women may need more XS and S. XXXL (119 to 124 cm) is also available if needed.

Which colours work best for group T-shirts?

Colour is often decided quickly, but it affects how the tees look after a day of wear and a few washes. A few points to think about for groups:

With 15 colours available, one colour for the whole group is usually the tidiest option. Some groups pick a second colour for organisers, volunteers or staff, so they stand out in a crowd.

Whatever you choose, check the colour on a single sample tee first. Colours can look slightly different on screen than in real life.

What else should you check before ordering plain tees in bulk?

  1. Order a sample first if colour or fit really matters.
  2. Collect sizes in one list with name, size and colour.
  3. Add one or two spares in M and L for late sign-ups.
  4. Allow time for printing if the tees go to a printer after delivery.
  5. Remember cotton can shrink a few percent, so do not size down.

Which products work for group orders besides T-shirts?

For staff and events, a polo looks a little smarter, while V-necks suit a more casual look. The same quantity discount applies across the range.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum order for plain T-shirts in bulk?
Not at Marmalade Co. You can buy from 1 piece at €6.95. The quantity discount starts automatically at 3 pieces (5 % off) and rises to 10 % from 5 pieces, which is €6.26 per T-shirt. The discount applies to the product, and delivery is €7 per order.
Can I mix sizes and colours in a bulk order?
In most shops, yes, and that is how group orders usually work. Check in the basket that the quantity discount is applied to the mix you choose. The safest way to plan is to collect everyone's size and colour in a simple list first, then add them to the basket in one go.
Does Marmalade Co. deliver bulk orders to the UK?
No. Marmalade Co. currently delivers only to Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain, by DHL for €7 flat per order. It does not currently deliver to the United Kingdom, so UK groups need a delivery address in one of those countries or a UK supplier.
How do I work out sizes for a group?
Ask everyone for their size rather than guessing. If that is not possible, a rough split for a mixed adult group is S 15 %, M 30 %, L 30 %, XL 15 % and XS or XXL 10 %. Share the size guide with chest measurements so people can check, and order one or two spares in M and L.
Which fabric weight is best for staff or event tees?
Mid-weight tees of approx. 160 to 180 gsm are a good all-round choice: comfortable for a full day and sturdy enough for regular washing and printing. For outdoor events in summer, a lighter tee is cooler. See the T-shirt gsm guide for the differences.
